Rise of Dragons – the old formula in a fresh edition
Rise of Dragons is a browser-based game from Esprit Gasmes. It is an MMORPG with an isometric view. This is There is also one of many games today, which It is a great game built around a 3D setting. Tw The developers of such games unfortunately mistakenly believe that players can be attracted by the setting alone. There is no shortage of producers in the industry in which and They’re trying to lure an unfocused demographic of gamers into games that nice looking and almost entirely self-playing.
Why such a trend among the d browser games? Unknown. It is doubtful The profitability of such treatments. Such games are produced in bulk and all are incredibly similar to each other. They do not have a well thought-out plot or gameplay. It’s hard to see why these games are at such a poor level. Even inexperienced developers are undoubtedly able to come up with unusual solutions. Ba, we can find plenty of indie gems on Steam that are the work of a single person. Maybe it’s about lack of passion or desire to make quick money? It’s hard for me to throw empty hypotheses to the wind, but these are the two most likely reasons.
Enough of these thoughts, let’s go to the substance. As for the Rise of Dragons itself – it’s a game very similar to the aforementioned Dragon Awaken, although both games The game is a bit different from the previous one based at first. Rise of Dragons can boast a much better graphic design and a different character of the fights. Dragonlord In this It’s also a game from the same genre and with isometric view, so a lot has been improved in Rise of Dragons. The first thing that strikes the eye is the fact that the world in RoD is completely generated in 3D – Dragonlord The game had one map texture and only characters/effects were generated by the game engine. The interface looks very similar to the one from the previous game by esprit studio, but fortunately (or not) the fights have been changed. Previously, they took place in a turn-based system, which In the Pub we can eat our daily meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), which everyone can see & slash’Diablo style. From the rest, the bottom part of the interface resembles many games of this genre. At first I was pleasantly surprised because I was hoping that the combat would finally be dynamic and interesting. Unfortunately, while this is a significant improvement over previous Esprit productions, it still doesn’t fully satisfy me. The combat is too stiff and monotonous, and unimaginably easy and not very satisfying.
As for the plot, c There is some kind of a game. I don’t know what I can say about it except that it is correct. Just another story in another browser game. As a rule, we shouldn’t expect amazing adventures from browser games d, interesting characters and blood-curdling action. Fortunately, compared to the rest of such games, Rise of Dragons comes out well. Let’s add to this a great graphic design (judging by the I was very surprised because I hoped that the fight will finally be dynamic and interesting hen you want to stay in the game for a while. During the gameplay I lacked some kind of identification with my character. When you start the game you just choose a hero class and nothing more. No customization of the appearance or even the ability to enter your own nickname – it is generated randomly by the game. Already at the beginning I started to worry about the unfortunate auto-tracking and unfortunately I received it.
We don’t have to do anything in the game if we prefer this option. You want to get to the Quest? Just click on the highlighted keyword in The progression is so fast that it only makes sense to spend real currency if you want to equip a specific item. Head tasks are generally based on “conversation” with NPCs, or maybe rather monologue, and on the fight. When we have to kill a group of enemies In, it turns out that after killing one we can already collect the reward. Of course, we can fight further, but a group of opponents The game will be infinitely revived, which definitely affects the reflection The game itself. Rise of Dragons is a free to play game, which means that we will encounter micropayments. These, fortunately, are not that invasive. Progress in the game is so fast that spending real currency only makes sense if you want to equip yourself with a specific item.
I can’t write much about Rise of Dragons, because not much It differs from previous Esprit games, but is a good production in its own right. It is definitely worth spending some time on this game, despite annoying auto-tracking or some minor bugs. It is certainly gratifying to see that there are regular updates and involvement of making the game better.
